PLA (Polylactic Acid): The eco-choice for 3D printing

PLA is one of the most popular 3D printing materials, and for good reason. Derived from renewable resources such as corn and sugarcane, it is biodegradable, making it an environmentally-friendly choice. Easy to print, PLA has low shrinkage, which reduces the risk of parts warping. Although not as robust as some other plastics, its wide range of colors and glossy finish make it a preferred choice for prototypes, models and art objects. If you're looking for an environmentally-friendly material that's easy to use, PLA is often the preferred choice.
