Who we are
Founded in 2017, Francofil is a French company specializing in the development and manufacture of filaments for 3D printing.
The quality and ambition of the project have led many players such as the Normandy Region, Normandie Incubation and the CCI Viking to support us from the outset. A number of excellent professional clusters have also been quick to welcome us into their fold, including Normandie Aéro Espace and Next Move.
Ideally located between Rouen and Le Havre, Francofil can be reached from Paris Saint-Lazare in 2h00 thanks to its immediate proximity to the Bréauté-Beuzeville train station.
A different approach
In addition to its standard filaments, Francofil has expanded its range by reusing co-products from various sectors (agriculture, catering, etc.) to add natural color to its PLA filaments.
We offer you 100% biobased filaments, with no chemical dyes or additives, bringing new effects and textures to printed parts.
Did you know that our filaments can be used to print parts made from shells, wheat, beer or coffee grounds ?
As we are committed to supporting the local economy, our production equipment is designed and manufactured in France. Whenever possible, we give preference to suppliers and partners from France or, failing that, from the European Union.
100% of our filaments are extruded on our production site in Normandy.
The waste used to manufacture co-products comes from French or even local sources, in the case of shellfish and brewers' grains.
Francofil is also constantly looking at ways to recycle filament offcuts and 3D printing waste, so that they can be recycled in the form of filaments or in other transformation processes that can make use of this waste.
