Who are we?
Founded in 2017, Francofil is a French company specializing in the development and manufacture of filaments for 3D printing.
The quality and ambition of the project have led many players such as the Normandy Region, Normandy Incubation and the CCI Viking to support us from the beginning. Excellent professional clusters then quickly welcomed us into their fold, such as Normandy Aero Espace and Next Move.
Ideally located between Rouen and Le Havre, Francofil is accessible from Paris Saint-Lazare in 2 hours thanks to its immediate proximity to the Bréauté-Beuzeville train station.
A different approach
Beyond standard filaments, Francofil has expanded its range by valorizing co-products from various sectors (agriculture, catering, etc.) to bring natural color to its PLA filaments.
We offer 100% bio-sourced filaments, free from chemical dyes and additives, bringing new effects and textures to printed parts.
Did you know that thanks to our filaments, you can print parts based on seashells, wheat, beer or even coffee grounds?
French Manufacturing
With a commitment to supporting the local economy, our production equipment has been designed and manufactured in France. Whenever possible, we favor French suppliers and partners, or, failing that, those from the European Union.
100% of our filaments are extruded at our production site in Normandy.
The waste used to manufacture co-products comes from French or even local sources for shellfish and beer grains.
Francofil is also constantly exploring ways to revalorize filament scraps and 3D printing waste, with the aim of recycling them into filaments or other processing channels that can utilize this waste.
