Mould Shell PLA Filament - Ecology and Elegance

Francofil's Coquille de Moule PLA filament is a refined, eco-friendly option for your 3D printing projects. It is compatible with most printers using non-proprietary filaments, offering a versatile and environmentally-friendly solution.

This filament is made from finely ground mussel shells from the catering waste recycling chain. The mussel shell particles have been carefully reduced to a size of less than 250 µm to ensure smooth, trouble-free printing through standard nozzles. Parts printed with this filament feature an elegant pinkish color and light speckling, adding a touch of elegance to your creations.

Our Mussel Shell PLA filament is of bio-sourced origin and contains no endocrine disruptors, ensuring your peace of mind when using it.

CAUTION: For prolonged, recurrent printing, depending on the machines used, we recommend using a steel nozzle for optimum durability.

It's important to note that filament color may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the natural shades of the mold shell waste used, adding an authentic, elegant touch to your creations.
