TPU98A is a strong, flexible filament belonging to the elastomer family. On the elastomer hardness scale, TPU 98A is similar to hard rubber. It is, for example, slightly stiffer than a shopping-cart wheel, and can therefore be used to print parts that are both robust and flexible. Its 98 shore A hardness makes it one of the easiest flexible filaments to print. Its main qualities are :

  • Flexibility and strength in one
  • Shore hardness 98A
  • Up to 190% elongation
  • Heat resistance up to 140°C
  • Waterproof and resistant to oil and grease splashes

CAUTION: When printing elastomers, we recommend using direct-drive printers rather than Bowden systems. When using a Bowden system, make sure your machine's filament drive system is compatible with the drive of flexible filaments.
