Can you introduce yourself briefly? Tell us about yourself and your activities.
I'm Benjamin, better known as JARVIS CREATOR!
I'm 36 years old physically, but 16 mentally!
In my spare time, I manage a driving school, otherwise, I'm a full-time unconditional Iron Man fan.
What sparked your interest in comics, and why did you choose to focus on the Marvel universe?
I've been immersed in comics since I was little. Why MARVEL in particular? Well, I think it's mainly because of two characters that I've been a fan of for 20 years: Iron Man and Deadpool.
What motivated you to get started in 3D printing? Was there a trigger or a particular need that led you to this technology?
Actually, it was mostly because of a challenge with my wife! I started with a very small printer, and then the idea of creating a life-size armor came about. My wife challenged me... and now I think she regrets it! Lol.
How have your creations impacted your daily life and your interactions with your community, both online and in person?
I don't show off my creations in my personal life. I'm not super comfortable on social media either. However, I love seeing people smile at conventions, especially the starry-eyed children. That, for me, has an incredible impact; it's a huge motivation.
What is the most ambitious project you have carried out so far?
The Tony/Iron Man diorama.
Are you currently working on a project, or do you have one in mind for the future?
I am constantly creating new armors and 1/6th scale figurines, but I have a big... really big project in mind...
What materials do you generally prefer to use to create your costumes and figurines?
FRANCOFIL's ASA filament is ideal for life-size prints and cosplay. Resin is better suited for figurines.
Why did you choose to use Francofil products for your creations?
I am and will remain a patriot. If I can work with French products and a French team, I go for it straight away.
With all your creations, from cosplays to armor and figurines, do you have a dream or goal that you want to achieve through your art?
Yes, of course... to pass on my passion to my son and daughter and see them do even crazier projects than mine.
What are the upcoming events where you will be present, so fans can come and meet you and discover your creations in person?
Geek Unchained in Mulhouse (June 15 & 16, 2024).
For conventions at the end of the year and the beginning of 2025, I am still considering. Nothing is set.
