TPE88A filament: Flexibility and versatility

TPE88A is a flexible filament belonging to the thermoplastic elastomer family. On the elastomer hardness scale, TPE88A is similar to rubber, making it ideal for applications such as vibration and oscillation damping. Its 88 Shore A hardness makes printed parts extremely flexible, guaranteeing outstanding impact resistance and flexibility. However, please note that this material is not compatible with direct food contact. Here are its main qualities:

CAUTION: When printing elastomers such as TPE88A, we recommend using direct-drive printers rather than Bowden systems. If you use a Bowden system, make sure your machine's filament drive system is compatible with flexible filament printing. For better adhesion to the platen, printing on adhesive tape may be useful.
